Has anyone else picked up the new Don't Look Back '65 Tour Deluxe Edition? If you haven't, you should! I just saw it in the store a couple weeks ago and I just had to pick up a copy; well worth the money! The box includes 2 DVD's, a reprint of the Don't Look Back book (including a new forward by D.A. Penebaker) and a flip-book of a frame-by-frame breakdown of the first verse of the famous "Subterranean Homesick Blues" cue-card sequence. The first disc is the same as the previous DVD release of DLB--with some updates to Dylan's discography and Penebaker's filmography. The REAL treat is the second disc: Dylan '65 Revisited, a new hour-long feature of deleted scenes that Penebaker edited down from 20 hours of footage, plus a new audio commentary by Penebaker and Bob Neuwirth. I just watched the outtakes, quite a lot of fun. Some of the highlights are a performance of "If You Gotta Go, Go Now (Or Else You Gotta Stay)" and a scene of Dylan, Neuwirth and Grossman devising an "escape route" for themselves and the Beatles after the Royal Albert Hall concert.
